Drought or Drying Up?
There’s a lot of talk in Australia at the moment about the impact of the current “drought” on our farmers and urban dwellers alike. Is this a typical multi-year drought or is this the multi-decade climate change we don’t like to talk about because we make so much money from exporting coal? I suspect we are experiencing drought on top of long term climate change. The map below suggests our farmers might need to move to the North West to be viable, if the soil is fertile.

Shaun, what you have done is brilliant. For a while now I have been wanting an electric car of some sort and there seems to be quite a bit of buzz around now. Is there no small business in Australia that will do a conversion???? What a shame! I have two cars in the garage i would consider converting and with green energy at home…..we’d be onto a good thing.

Thanks Oren.
Unfortunately I don’t know of a conversion business in Australia that I could recommend.
As an alternative, I feel the best approach for those willing to invest in green transport is to purchase a hybrid vehicle. It is very important that consumers support mainstream manufacturers in this technology, as the possibility of a “plug-in” option could change our world.
