Most of January was spent on holidays but some hard yards were won.

  
1. This is the rear bracket that holds the battery rack, 4 bolts are the old petrol tank bolts and 4 are using the rear seat mounting positions. 2. This is the rear battery rack not yet assembled. Pieces to the right & left bolt upright to hold down batteries with rod. Front piece removal allows battery installation into rack.
3. The rear batteries all bolted up in their rack and fitted with the Aquapro watering system. 4. The rear battery rack installed, note the aluminium sheet protection.
5. This top view of the rear rack shows all the plates used to spread weight across chassis cross members underneath the rear seat.

Finishing off.

 

  
1. The persistent Thomas vacuum pump, fitted with Hobbs vac switch and a length of rubber hose on the discharge side to keep it nice and quiet. 2. Fitted under the front battery rack nice and close to the booster.
3. This is all the front batteries installed with the polypropylene "Fasty" hold-down straps. Also the Aquapro single-point watering system. The bottom right battery is the original ICE battery for the accessories. 4. Good old Curtis 1231C controller fitted onto 10mm aluminium plate with two heat sink fin assemblies mounted on the back. All just behind the A/C condenser which also has an electric fan fitted on the upstream side.
